Our Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller Mounting Kit replaces the factory dash panel to the right of the steering column that houses the Tow/Haul and TRAC buttons. We use a factory panel from Toyota and modify it with a custom fit plate that matches the shape of the P2 brake controller. This panel matches the factory dash perfectly as we use a factory panel. Our panel gives easy access to the control panel on the front of the P2 and also the manual control lever on the bottom of the controller. This panel makes the installation easy and makes it look like it was installed at the factory.
